i got a toshiba 4 channel amplifier. its got a switch on it for 2channel, 3 channel, and 4 channel. it says on the amplifier 150 + 150 watts. i got one sony sub thats 400 watts. i was wondering if i could flick the switch on the amp to 2 channel and then bridge %26quot;a%26quot; and %26quot;b%26quot; together to make it a one channel with out frying anything out????

Nope. You can bridge a 4-channel amp down to 2 channels, but not 1 channel.
